What I Do

For me, photography is more than just capturing moments, it’s about capturing connection. I love documenting the heartbeat of a community, whether that’s worship services, church gatherings, local events, or outreach and volunteer initiatives. These are the moments that bring people together, celebrate the faith that strengthens us, and showcase the love and joy that make a community thrive.

My goal is to create images that not only tell the story of what has happened, but also reflect the spirit of Jesus behind it, so your community can look back, remember, and keep building forward together in His name.

What do these sessions look like?

Every community has its own rhythm, and I aim to honor that. Before any session, I’ll connect with your team to understand your vision, whether it’s a worship service, a church event, or an outreach project. Together, we’ll create a plan that highlights both the key moments and the in-between interactions that make your community feel alive.

On the day of, I’ll work seamlessly in the background, capturing everything from the big picture, the energy of a worship service or a packed community event, to the smaller details like warm greetings, shared laughter, and hands at work in service.

My approach is natural and unobtrusive, so your people can stay focused on what matters most while I preserve the story for you.

You're in the right place.

How I Do It

hello there.

I’m Amy,
YOUR artist behind the lens

While I love a good late night paint sesh, I also love capturing the glorious world with my camera, capturing memories for you.

I'm a mom of 5, artist, photographer, lover of brunch and curling my hands around a frosty glass of iced coffee (make it black please!). I moved from the maple syrups of New England to the palm trees of Florida after 12 years of running a photography company with my sister in the evergreens. Now I'm doing it from the beaches and I love it just as much, although I miss her tons.

HOW IT WORKS

01

For the Churches

We know strong faith is not calculated by how many times we can post on Instagram... But, what if that person scrolling Instagram didn't know what they were looking for... until they stumbled on your page that was so full of real, authentic emotion. Tears and laughter for Jesus, life changing moments in high definition surrounded by others all feeling the same way.

What if we could spike their curiosity to come Sunday morning and see what the hype was all about? Just by capturing the joy of Jesus Christ and his people with beautifully imagery.

02

For the Community

These sessions are candid, fun, and exciting because you get to run your event as you would...while I make sure everyone knows how fun it was after the fact. And you didn't even have to pull out your phone once to put up a story. Organizing a 5K fundraiser, a fall festival, a school dance? Maybe its an annual thing? Let me capture the moments that will help you market it year after year to ensure it's a whopping success.

My Heart Behind the Lens

straight from me at 12:00am

When Instagram came out we were all enamored by it. And if you say you weren't...then I would love to know what was cooler back then. I remember it starting off with us posting WHATEVER the heck we could get a photo of. Cellphone cameras were close to as good as a disposable camera and yellowed filters of our soup of the day was the hottest thing to hit the internet. (Go ahead, scroll back to 2010...I never delete a post.) It was all in good fun, hilarious to see what friends were posting and what adventures they went on and honestly for my generation, probably has a serious amount of nostalgia tied to it now. I mean I have announced five kiddos on there.
     - Then, it went downhill fast. -
To say it got depressing, curated, and quite tedious are all understatements. Now you don't know what is Instagram and what is reality and my job as a photographer always seems to be at risk with the newest phones and AI editing. Everything has to be faster, more precise, and more beautifully neutral then ever before. ( I mean look at this website...2010 Amy would have had lemon yellow and sunset orange mixed with a dab of hot flamingo pink gracing every inch of your screen.) Don't get me wrong, change is exciting...and I'm the one to line up for the newest iPhone, but it breaks my heart to know that social media is actually ruining peoples lives. We can't tell who is really thriving and who is just surviving.
     - So hear me out. -
What if we were on a mission to change that. It's not going anywhere. The world is not deleting any apps that connect them to millions of people- because we're human and we LIVE for connection... but what if we're using it all wrong. What if we're supposed to use it to spread Joy and Peace. What if it was a platform we could use to share the name of Jesus, to foster moments of hope and perseverance, to come together as one community built on connecting circles. What if we changed the grid to be a beacon of hope. This is why I photograph real moments, this is why I'll continue to post day in and day out with real truths, with real hope, and real genuine joy that comes from Jesus. Because even if I can change one persons scroll; thats enough for me.
